Erik Rodriguez, a former cast of Love is Blind: Mexico season 1 allegedly passed away during the filming of the show.
Rodriguez made small appearances in the show and fans claim that he might have been a full-time contestant.
Apparently, the creators of the show dedicated the end of the season to Rodriguez which left fans in confusion.
Fans began to speculate about the situation when a heated discussion on Reddit concluded that Erik had lost his life while shooting.
Although there had been no clear statement from the show creators about his passing, the evidences suggests it may be true.
Erik’s Friends Confirmed His Passing Through Social Media Where They Mourned His Loss
Born on March 28, 1993, Erik Rodriguez hails from Mexico City, Mexico and has been working as a rock DJ for a considerably long period of time.
The music curator graduated from AnaHuac University Cancun in Cancun, Mexico in 2019.
Rodriguez was an adventurous person with variety of hobbies including travelling, DJing, athletics and biking.
Additionally, he had a vibrant social life, his social media frequently showcased him enjoying late night parties with friends and recent travels to France and Peru.
Recently, the DJ created a buzz after rumors about his demise during filming of the reality show he featured on started circulating.
Although fans were not sure, the social media activities of his friends and loved ones confirmed the rumors.
In Erik’s recent Instagram post, his comment section was full with messages expressing condolences and notes about missing him. One of the comments read:
I will always have a nice memory of you and your huge smile.
Furthermore, the reality show contender actually entered with everyone in the cast, however he passed away around the episode of one of the contestant, Silvia’s birthday episode.
One of Erik’s friend, Ana also posted on her Instagram, reminiscing on cherished memories they shared together and mourning his passing writing:
