Even though speculations are surfacing about the departure of renowned UK/Nigerian actress and singer Bukunmi Oluwasina, the artist is alive and thriving in her life.
The celebrity gained recognition for being the first Nollywood actress to portray four characters in a single movie titled Jankariwo.
Recently, numerous TikTok videos have been circulating online about the demise of the artist but it turns out to be untrue.
This wave of rumors was sparked by a video of Bukunmi singing while wearing a patient robe, which was posted on the internet and it immediately gained public attention.
Hence, people started assuming about the health condition of the artist, leading to the widespread rumor in the internet.
Bukunmi Oluwasina Denies the Speculations!
On August 25, 2024, Bukunmi took matters in her own hands to dismiss all the rumors trending on the internet.
She posted on her official TikTok account mentioning the issue saying:
Furthermore, she expressed her deep regret over how the internet reacted to such sensitive matters.
The actress also issued a strong statement stating she will take legal actions moving forward.
Likewise, Bukunmi Oluwasina also shared a picture of herself on her Instagram, which is a clear sign that shows the actress is well and alive.
Similarly, she has also been actively sharing updates in her Instagram stories which indicates her well being.
In fact, to address the baseless rumors, she captioned “Psalm 118 vs 17” in her recent post, which means “I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the lord has done”.
Additionally, Bukunmi further clears the air stating, the video circulating on the internet is from a movie studio.
And, she assures her fans nothing has happened to her and she is safe.
The artist herself has denied the assumptions, and has showed her concerns regarding how this matter could effect her friends and families.
Hence, she emphasizes the need of thorough internet research beforehand especially when dealing with something this sensitive.
