British Businessman Jonathan Bloomer and His Wife Judy Bloomer Were Together for Five Decades!
The chairman of investment bank Morgan Stanley International, Jonathan Bloomer, and his wife, Judy Bloomer, were the victims of the tragic yacht wreckage that unfolded on 19th August 2024.
The couple were among the 6 people who were missing after the luxury yacht Bayesian sank off in Sicily, Italy.
On 22nd August 2024, speculations surfaced that among the five bodies recovered, two of them were Jonathan Bloomer and his wife, Judy Bloomer.
Jonathan Bloomer, born on March 23rd, 1954, had an extensive career in finance. The 70-year-old also served as chairman of Hiscox and property business SDL.
In 1974, he graduated from Imperial College in London with a degree in physics, which further assisted Jonathan in starting his career in the business and finance world.
Jonathan Bloomer’s wife, Judy Bloomer, was a psychotherapist with almost 30 years of experience!
Judy Bloomer, aged 71, was a psychotherapist with a career span of over 2 decades specializing in anxiety and stress.
According to her LinkedIn profile, the psychotherapist completed her BA in English Language and Literature/Letters from Homerton College, Cambridge.
Judy was a trustee, board member, and loyal supporter of “The Eve Appeal”, a leading UK gynecological cancer research charity that raises awareness of five gynecological cancers.
In addition, she had sincerely dedicated 20 years of her life to aiding and supporting the organization.

The organization described her as a “brilliant champion for women’s health and medical research, an incredible supporter, committee member, and trustee of our charity for over twenty years.”
The charity’s chief executive further said,
Everyone at the charity is deeply shocked to hear the news that our very dear friend Judy is amongst the missing. Our thoughts are with Judy and Jonathan’s family, and all those who are still waiting for news after this tragic event.
Judy also served as a director at Change Real Estate Limited, a property developer company she managed alongside her husband.
Speaking of their relationship timeline, unfortunately, limited information about them is available on social media.
However, it is known that Jonathan and Judy esided in Sevenoaks, United Kingdom, and were proud parents of three children.
Lastly, we would like to extend our deepest condolences to the Bloomer family during this unfortunate time. We hope they find the strength to overcome this ordeal.
